Our Purpose: Student Council provides students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, Student Council is the voice of the student body.

How to Join: Starting this school year, class officers and Student Council members will be elected at the end of the school year. Students can sign up to run in the office and upon approval, placed on the ballot. Each class votes for their officers and representatives to Student Council.

What does Student Council do: During Spirit Week we host the canned food drive competition between classes and each year we collect over 1,000 canned goods to give back to the Borden community. Student Council also hosts a door decorating competition between teachers to help foster school spirit. Added this summer is the senior parking spot fundraiser, which Student Council hopes to continue to provide seniors a way to show their personality while adding some character to our parking lot.
